Coverage at a glance

Warranty periods run from the date of original purchase and apply to the original purchaser, for products installed in the United States per NewTechWood's written instructions.

Structural limited warranty: products remain free from material manufacturing defects and will not check, splinter, delaminate, rot, or suffer structural damage from fungal decay. Replacement value is prorated after year 10 on 25-year coverage — the full schedule is in each document below.

Stain & fade protection

On top of the structural warranty, capped composite decking, siding, finishers, screens and hybrid railing carry a separate 25-year residential Stain & Fade Performance Warranty:

  • Fade resistance — color change will not exceed 5 Delta E (Hunter) units from light and weathering exposure.
  • Stain resistance — against food and beverage spills typical of a residential deck, when cleaned promptly with soap and water.
  • Care matters — following the published Care & Maintenance instructions is a condition of coverage.

Keeping coverage intact

  • Install per NewTechWood's written instructions, in an above-ground application, meeting applicable building codes.
  • Use NewTechWood or approved hidden fasteners — non-approved fasteners can void coverage on the boards they hold.
  • Coverage applies to the original purchaser while they own the property where the product is installed.
  • Keep your proof of purchase from an authorized NewTechWood dealer.

Making a claim

  1. Document it

    Within 30 days of discovering an issue, gather your proof of purchase, photos of the affected product, and a copy of the warranty document.

  2. Send it in

    Email your claim to [email protected] or mail it to NewTechWood America Inc., Claims Department, 16680 Air Center Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77032.

  3. Hold off on repairs

    Protect the area, but leave the product in place until the claim investigation is complete — permanent repairs or removal beforehand can void coverage.
