NewTechWood siding can be installed on interior surface, on plywood, without furring strips, if the room in which it is installed will maintain a fairly stable year-round temperature. We would not recommend using glues, or other adhesives, as best practice, as they may not hold over time.

No, it cannot. Furring strips are necessary for air flow and for the siding trim to properly be installed. The only exception would be in case of soffit installation. This means it cannot be installed directly onto any moisture barrier. This is not the case for interior installations, or for soffit.
